Lord Hanuman is extremely intimate deity and super devotee of Lord Rama.Lord Hanuman is son of Pawan (air) and Anjani(the woman of highly spiritual native).Every body knows that one cannot live without Pawan (air). Lord Hanuman is called PAWANSUT (Son of air) and ANJANIPUTRA (Son of Anjani).

Lord Hanuman is fond of sweet fruits. When he was child, he thought Sun as sweet fruit, He swallowed the sun. The universe plunged into darkness. That was the day the RAHU (The body less Asur planet has head only) come to swallow sun and to release after some time (i.e. eclipse) or SURYA GRAHAN). But the sun was all ready swallowed by Lord HANUMAN RAHU went to INDRA (Lord of Lords) and complaint against HANUMAN. In his anger INDRA attacked HANUMAN by his VAJRA (highly dangerous weapon). The HANU (Chin) of Lord. Hanuman was wounded by VAJRA. He became unconscious after getting this news his father VAYU DEV (Air) threatened to with draw PRAN VAYU (Vital air, oxygen)from all the creatures of universe-excluding Lord HANUMAN. The DEVTAS (Duties) became terrified after this threat. Because everything was DEVTAS prayed to VAYU. They made conscious to Lord HANUMAN and gave him (HANUMAN)a part of their POWER. Before this the YAM (The God of death) gave him VARDAAN (a granting of boon) to be immortal. The VAYU became pleased by this. Then Lord HANUMAN freed the SUN and the universe became lighted.

Once Lord RAMA gave a necklace of pearl (Moti ki Mala) to Lord HANUMAN in RAMA DARBAR. Lord Hanuman immediately broke the necklace and started to gaze every pearl, Lord Laxman asked to Lord Hanuman -
`What are you looking Hanuman ?',
Lord Hanuman told -
`I am searching Lord RAMA in these pearls. The Sadhus present at RAM DARBAR laughed after hearing this answer.
They told - `How the RAMA be present in these pearls ?'
Lord HANUMAN answered -
`The Lord RAMA can be present in my heart, why he is not present in pearls ? `
Can you show RAMA in Lord HANUMAN.
He answered - `yes, and tore-open his chest. Every one saw the RAMA and SITA was present in his heart. To see this RAMA smiled.

Once Goddess Sita was wearing sindur (vermillion). Lord HANUMAN asked to him -`What are you wearing mother ?' Mother Sita answered -`Sindur'. `What for' - Lord HANUMAN asked. Goddess Sita told-Just for the Mangal (Good Happenings)of Lord-Rama.' Immediately Lord HANUMAN besmeared sindur in his whole body. After searing this Lord RAMA asked him. He answered-`Ma Sita told me that she wear sindur for your MANGAL, I am also wearing sindur for the same. Lord RAMA gave him ASHIRVAAD (blessed him) the devotee who will offer you sindur will cross all the hurdles.

When Ravan (the king of demons) kidnapped Goddess Sita and kept her in his capital LANKA, Lord HANUMAN searched her within the limited time. But when he was about to enter in LANKA, the women demon called SURSA blocked his way to swallow Lord HANUMAN. Lord HANUMAN as Sursa spread her mouth Lord Hanuman became double than his size. Sursa's mouth became wide for fifty miles. Lord Hanuman became bigger than fifty miles. When Sursa indened her mouth 100 miles. Lord Hanuman became like the size of mosquito and exited through her body.

Rawan kept Godess Sita in his Ashok Vatika (The garden of Ashoka trees). Lord Hanuman has had a ring of Lord RAMA before searching Godess. Sita can beleive on him - He is real HANUMAN, not a Maya or illusiuon. Lord HANUM/AN became small than mosquito and sat above the tree where Godess. Sita was present. She was surrounded by Lady demons, To see the right occassion. Lord HANUMAN dropped the ring of Lord RAMA. Godess Sita became surprised. After than Lord HANUMAN appeared in this real body.

After meeting to Godess Sita, Lord HANUMAN went to eat fruits from the garden or RAVANA. He purposely destroyed the garden. The guards arrested him and presented in the court of king RAVANA. After knowing has identity RAVANA criticised Lord RAMA, and laughed on Lord HANUMAN. Lord HANUMAN gave him right, fearless but harsh answers. RAVANA became very angry. He ordered to burn the tail of Lord Hanuman. The clothes wrapped around the tail of Lord HANUMAN. His tail became larger and larger. Tons of clothes were wrapped in the tail. When the fire touched with the end of the tail of Lord Hanuman, it appeared that a huge flame will in gulf the Lanka. Lord HANUMAN started to jump on one house to another. The houses started burning. The Lanka was made up of Gold. The most of the Lanka was burn to ashes.

When arrow of Meghnad hit the Laxman, he became unconscious. The army of Lord RAMA sink in the ocean of sadness and grief. Lord RAM himself was too much sad. Then Sushen Vaidya (The ayurvedic doctor) was called. Vaidya told that only `Sanjivani Booty' (A herb only found on SUMERU HILL) can save Laxman. Lord HANUMAN became ready to bring this medicine. He went on Sumeru hill, which was far away from the battle field. There were many herbs like `Sanjivani Booty'. Lord Hanuman became confused. He immediately lifted sumeru hill in his right hand and started journey flying. When he was passing through Ayodhya, Bharat, the brother of Lord Rama saw him. Bharat misunderstood and that flying creature (Lord Hanuman) is demon. He attacked by arrow. The right leg of Lord Hanuman was injured. He get down in Ayodhya and told the story to Bharat. He obliged Lord Hanuman by hitting with arrow again, and Lord Hanuman reached at battle field in Lanka. Laxman was saved. But for the regard of Bharat, Lord Hanuman started walking. That's why he is called `LANGRA HANUMAN' (crippled).

Since he is balashali (i.e. most powerful) he is called BALAJI.

Lord Hanuman in Mahabharata

Lord Hanuman was always present on the flag of the chariot (RATH) of Arjun during Mahabharata war. As you know Lord Sri Krishna was charioteer (Sarathi) of Arjuna.

During exile of Pandavas Bhima met to Lord Hanuman. Bhima was going to his destination. Lord Hanuman sat in his away as a normal monkey. Bhima told Hanuman to leave his away. Lord Hanuman did not listen. Bhima warned he will throw him (Lord Hanuman) if he will not move from there. Lord Hanuman said -`If you are so powerful, please move my tail only'. But Bhima could not move his tail. He realised - this is not ordinary monkey. He praised - you are some super natural person. Please show your real existence. Lord Hanuman appeared in his real form. Bhima worshipped and prayed to Lord Hanuman and wished blessings. Lord Hanuman told that when ever you Pandavas will be in danger or in problem I will help you. During Mahabharata Bhima remembered and prayed Lord Hanuman. That's why Lord Hanuman always present on the flag of the Arjuna.

Lord Hanuman has got very special position in the Ram Darbar (in the court of Ram). Without Lord Hanuman Darbar is not completed. Lord Hanuman always sat at the foot of Lord Rama. Neither Lord Rama nor Lord Hanuman can live without each other.

Once Lord Rama told Lord Hanuman -`As long as my story is told and listened on earth, stay their.' Lord Hanuman answered-`O Lord, as long as your story in told (Ram Katha) I will present on earth. So Lord Hanuman is still present on earth.

The devotee is needed to worship him with whole heart, with full devotion. He will come to help us. His name is SANKAT MOCHAN - means destroyer of all hurdles of human being. If devotee call him with full heart he immediately abolish his problem. Salasar-Balaji dham is that's why so pious and super natural place.
